MORE Junior Sailing & Racing is designed for more advanced Junior Racers, 12-17yrs old that are signed up for the Arizona Yacht Club Tempe Town Lake racing series (click HERE for AYC racing information).
Your child MUST have sufficient sailing confidence and competence to RIG, DE-RIG and SINGLE-HAND SAIL, CAPSIZE and RECOVER their boat of choice (BIC, Laser or their own personal boat) before you choose to sign them up for this course. Enrollment in this program gives students access to ASF Boats & Equipment for participating in racing events along with coaching and mentorship from experienced sailboat racing coaches and instructors.

Participants must arrive in time to have their boats rigged and ready to launch prior to class start times. Instructors are on hand and participants will have access to the the dry storage yard approximately one half hour before class is scheduled to begin.
PARENTS - make sure to bring a towel and change of clothes for your kids in case they have a capsize, it's just part of sailing!
